Semi-local Avon SR6 Searider RIB, no engine, incomplete controls, asking $2500 Might offer $500 to help him get rid of it.

This I'm falling in love with, 28ft Gemini RIB, plenty of room at the bow for a large tanning pad. Always wanted to drive a boat with an oil covered gal sunning at the bow, water droplets running off her oil coated skin. $29,900, though.

The SR6 is highly thought of/sought this side of the Pond. If the tubes are sound then it's a bargain in anyone's money.

Looks like a 5.4 with some decking boards in?

Might be a 6, looks wrong with the floorboards though. Unusual console.

Worth a look though, specially at that transom. That looks like it's been hacked about.

Good point. Is it a sib? That transom does look very much like one of the huge Avon Sibs from before the CRRC was made.

Looks like a sib, had one of these at the sailing school I worked at about 30 years ago. It had a tiller steered 30hp on it and went ok albeit a bit floppy, it was nicknamed the Flubberduck.
