A new rib race from Brest to Lorient

I'm sorry but all is in french...

All is here:

http://www.sasproconcept.com/defiwest/concept.html

From Brest to Lorient, 90 miles.http://www.sasproconcept.com/defiwest/cartes.html

You start when you want, from the first day of the year to the 31 december, alone, with a special gps given by the organisation on board, and the winner is the quickest of the year...

The differents categories are:

Catégorie 1 : embarcations jusqu'à 7,50 m, motorisées jusqu'à 150 cv.
Catégorie 2 : embarcations jusqu'à 7,50 m, motorisées jusqu'à 250 cv.
Catégorie 3 : embarcations jusqu'à 9 mètres, motorisées jusqu'à 350 cv.
Catégorie 4 : embarcations de plus de 350 cv

It's a new project, i will tell you more if you want.

Antoine

These are the Revenger dealers in France - they were great when I asked them for info on their 300xs outboard.

They have some nice videos on Youtube as well.

That sounds excellent (Google translates well enough to understand!). I really like the idea of a "challenge" rather than a tightly organised race.

It looks like an interesting course, but still short enough to make it something that should be manageable for plenty of people.

I wonder if we'll get any UK entrants. Who's up for a go?

John
