Got to guernsey Thursday . Went over to sark yesterday locals showed me the ropes . Got a lift up to the village off a tractor to find that beer is £1.65 a pint . Walked down to the bay (attached), swam and messed about until the tide allowed us off the island .
Just another perfect day .

Another perfect day?

Unfortunately looks can be deceiving.

A few hundred yards off.

I went about a mile off, hoping to get a bit of fishing in, but it just wasn't nice out there in my little Bombard. So I came back close in and pretended to be a Chav for half an hour.

All photos taken with the Aldi waterproof camera. I just wanted to check picture quality really.

Was that today or yesterday? Pretty sure I was on that beach yesterday. Certainly wasn't flat calm.

Which beach do you think it is?
I got out earlyish yesterday and got a few hours fishing before it chopped up to bad, and came in about 11am. I didn't set off till 9am today there was barely a ripple till I got a couple of hundred yard out. But once out of the lee of the land ..

Almost.................Shame about the ending!

I spent the Saturday on Pilot's Cove in Anglessey!

However on the way home the missus called me to tell me the dog had destroyed the new leather sofa and the downstairs toilet was blocked and there was sh*t everywhere so I went from a massive high to a big low. Anyway sh%t happens

It was so nearly A Perfect Day until I decided to recover at 17:30 on Sat which was about the same time that someone had decided to launch there super tanker cruiser with an Huge lorry. This took up most of the pontoon so leaving myself and a dozen others wondering how to get in. Next time I will recover later, much later.
