A Very Sad Loss

Hi Everyone,

I am sorry to inform you all of the sad loss of Roma Walters (Eggbert's Wife) who sadley passed away on the 3rd of April in Canada; after a very short Illness.

As most of you all know Eggbert; accompanied Alan Priddy's team back from their Trans Atlantic Crossing on Jolly Sailor.

Roma was diagnosed with Cancer only a few weeks ago which was a great shock, to those of us who had the pleasure of meeting her in Portsmouth.

Sadley her battle with this dreadfull disease has been lost.

On behalf of myself and all other Ribnet users I would like to offer my sincere condolances to Eggbert and his Family.

Hi Kevin and Louise. Your condolences are appreciated. I'm not sure if Dad has been to the forum lately but I'll be sure to let him know about your thread.
I recently returned from Newfoundland after spending 6 days with Dad after Roma's passing. He showed me a RIB magazine that contained some of his pictures from the trip. Quite impressive!
