A very useful bit of kit...

Well I'm a bit ashamed to say it but today I took my SIB out for the first time this year. What a grand day - as they say up here. The sun was shining and the sea was flat.

Anyway I found a very useful bit of kit. My problem is that the front end of the SIB can get a bit liveley so I need some balast. Well being balast it is by its very nature...heavy!

So I've come up with the solution.

I found a large boy (yes BOY not BUOY). The advantage is that the balast can walk to the boat. In fact the one that I found could also carry the fuel tank down to the boat.

Keith - still haven't unpacked the brackets - Hart
