Thanks for this post, I had wondered about installing one of those. Like you the boat is easily visible from the road so security won’t attracts thieves any more, but will prove a deterrent. There are of course those thieves who are expert at getting through anything, with the right tools and time everything can be removed!
I look at security the same way, if it makes a noise to remove (ie angle grinder) and takes time, this is all time I can have the police arrive while I’m watching them and identifying them on my security cameras [emoji106]
It’s a shame that some dishonest people out there makes us invest in security - but seeing as they won’t be going anywhere, it helps give some piece of mind.
Interestingly my insurance company aren’t fussed on any more security than the wheel clamp [emoji44]
