Adv.Pls. How to terminate Rib-Shop drain socks

Any idea how to terminate drain socks bought in Rib Shop ?

They are very solid, very thick neoprene.

Without rope stay straight like .... (not idea what ...)

I used some floating foam which you can use to your keys to not lost them.

I used some carabiner in the middle of rope

It is easier now to operate from boat and at transom (when boat on trailer)

Any idea what to use from eyelet or this foam be enough ? I do prefer some solid ABS plastic here.

Inside diameter of eyelet is about 1cm. Nylon rope has 4mm diameter.

RIBase
Just tie the rope to the top eyelet no need for foam take your line around the A frame to keep it inline with the drain sock have the rope tight when the sock is level inline with the hull that way it will bend up when no water coming out and seal, water coming out of the boat will drop it level again until it drains out

Hi Matt ,not sure what your saying here ,why have you changed from the original drain tubes on the highfield , I thought mine were very good system ,when I am on the trailer at home I just put a bit of garden hose inside them to allow the boat to drain during rain etc ,seems to work for me

One had leak (since new on the seam), so I glued it and add patch.
But I didn't know that it is hypalon so used glue for PVC and PVC patch.
After season this patch partially pull out (my fault I din't know that is hypalon)
When removed old patch I damaged drain sock.

So decide to replace for new. This is the reason.
Nothing wrong with second one.

On the below mentioned picture you have leak which I found (water come through drain pipe very slowly driving me mad):
