I too am going to be in the market for some gear shortly, and since I'm also going to be paying out a lot of initial setup expenses (towbar, trailer boot, etc etc etc) the price on the flotation suit appeals. Does it float you 'right way up' ie like a lifejacket? or does it require you to be conscious like a buoyancy aid?

no but the big advantage is you can swim back to the boat and it keeps you warmer in water than a LJ
been over in suit and was able to swim back and only my legs up to crutch were wet upper body remained dry even tho went in head first
