Advice required please, on possible purchase.

Advice on valiant pt 520 with 115 hp

Hi, sorry to post here, but figure I will get some help.

I'm being offered a valiant pt 520 with a Johnson 115 hp engine.

Now it does look immaculate, and comes with covers and other bits an pieces, but I have know idea what it worth in real terms.

I believe the tubes are PVC, and the boat is 2005, engine 2007, the engine has been serviced every year to 2011.

What's it worth .

Thanks.

Hi Al
I had a 570 with a 115 and that was quick. So a 520 with 115 will shift.
The Valiants are a good boat, being light, but they don't have a deep V hull, so can be a bit hard in bigger seas.
I would think around about 5K depending on condition. Pictures would help

From what I can see, the boat is like new, it fitted with a frame, nav lights, navman 7700 fish 4350 ( I think) and a nav VHF.

I was thinking about fishing from it, ?
