Aircraft (Liverpool PowerBoats) 785

Hi All,

So, first post back here since 2010

I'm looking at purchasing a second hand RIB in the 6-8m range in the near future and I've just seen this advertised:

https://www.findafishingboat.com/aircraft-785/ad-82685

Does anyone have any experience with these boats? My other alternative in a Ribcraft 6.5 or 6.8, and I'm mostly interested in good seakeeping and handling.

The ribcraft fan club will be along shortly to tell you to buy that. I'll hazard a guess few have seen, never mind helmed an aircraft that size. Rarely did anyone wish their boat was 1m shorter.

I haven't driven one but have seen one driven in very bad conditions and was impressed. They are a small brand which can be both a good and bad thing, but certainly if you are in the NW of England or north Wales where support will be easier than going to Yeovil it would be worth investigating further.

I've got the baby of the Aircraft range had from new 2011. Been round the West coast of Scotland several times and also Caernarfon to Isle of Man. Handled the chop very well so it's big brother will be more than capable. Send Ged a p.m. on here he will even give information on that particular rib that you are interested in [emoji106]
