Another sad boating tragedy (Solent)

Not sure if anyone posted this already, but another sad incident of a young lad (14) being killed by being hit by the prop of their boat

Teenager dies in boat accident

I haven't seen any further details. The reports say that he fell out and was hit by the prop.

Not sure it would be too easy to "fall out" and manage to hit the prop assuming the boat was going forward, unless he fell off the front?
Also says his friend was hurt too, although not life threatening.

Condolences to the family and wishing a speedy recovery for the lad in hospital.

I too will be interested in the circumstances leading up the incident. Doesn't look like a straight forward accident of just falling/thrown.

This is always bad news on what should have been a glorius weekend. I understood they were out of Mudeford/Christchurch which is very close boating community
