This handsome RIB has just been taken out at The Camber slipway in Old Portsmouth, but can you identify the manufacturer from this shot?

Saw it heading north on the A34 this afternoon, certainly caught my eye even doing 70 in the opposite direction. Love the red stripe.

Give that man a biscuit!

I thought it looked pretty good with the fabric print black tubes with red detailing. Thought the seats looked like Ribtec seats.

As stated, just sold to new owner - anyone on here?

Steve

I used to own that! It's a Humber hull, XS console and the seats came from a Pascoe. I never got around to finishing it. When I sold it it didn't have tubes on, looks good. I can only find this pic....

That is the second time this week that I have heard of a Ferryman Rib. The first time was in the pub last week. I was informed that the ferryman hull and the red bay hulls were similar in design.

In that they both have a pointy and and a blunt end?

Well said that man!

Anyone who suggests any commonality (other than the above) is talking bollocks (although they shared a steel supplier for a while).
However, I've heard that there may be more than a passing resemblance between a Ferryman hull and a Parker hull...
