Antifoul on tubes cleaning

Hi

Im after some advise on how to remove old antifoul from hull and tubes, bought the boat with it on and now beginning to look tatty. The rib is kept on its trailer when not in use so re antifouling not required.

Do you think it will go back to original gel coat or will that need repainting?

The rib is a Valiant 570 with PVC/PU tubes I think, I would like confirmation on which if anyone knows(new to this!)

Apologises in advance if this has already been covered.

Thanks

My boat has the same issue. I've decided to do nothing about it because the tubes will deteriorate from contact with solvents or scratches from anything abrasive.

You don't like the looks of it now, but once in the water you wont see it anymore.
