Any experience of Bantam Boats?

Hi All,

I've been enjoying using my Seago 270 over the summer however I have been looking at moving from a SIB to a RIB.

I've noticed Bantam boats offer an aluminium hull rib however can't find much info on them.

https://www.bantamboats.co.uk/bantam...ium-hull-ribs/

Does anyone have any experience or know where they are made?

Many thanks

Mat

Hmm,

Just found them on companies house. They were almost struck off last year and I get the feeling they might be Chinese made boats imported to the UK.

They might still be alright however I was hoping they were UK made and the company history doesn't fill one with confidence.

I wouldn't be concerned about the "Compulsory Strike Off" action, it was an administrative failure to submit their annual confirmation statement. New companies owners do it all the time, I did, it's easily done.

As for the RIB, I know nothing about them. I would be 99.9% confident that they are not made in the UK and as its a new venture, I doubt you will find much information or reviews about them. They do look like a Chinese import, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Why don't you contact them, pay them a visit, assess the quality and maybe even try one out (their website mentions "Hire")
