Christchurch Bay 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Lots about 2 weekends ago as well.

Difficult to locate as they're not really at their hot spots, reports from fishing forums indicate they're not as plentiful as they should be. Best advice I can give is to keep an eye open for birds working the water, Mackerel won't be far.
