Going to take Crazy Canadian out in the Solent Saturday to watch the Round the Island Yacht Race. (1600 Yachties fighting their way around the IOW.) Hopefully catch some rays and pose outrageously.
I'll be posin' & she'll be watchin' the yotties and commenting rudely on their spinnaker hoists, sale changes etc etc. I'm also hoping to dissprove Laura's theory that we only go ribbing when the weathers wet and windy. So fingers crossed for some sun on Sat!
Should be out on sat where are you launching ? at what time ? what channel will you be on ? what is your call sign ? Think this is enough questions for now
Not decided exactly where and when we are launching but either the slip near Soton FC or Calshot. Aim to be on the water for 9.30ish and then head round the Island. No real firm plans but will keep an eye out for you. Will dual watch 16 and say 72 but suspect airwaves will be somewhat busy with so many boats out!

So, you want people to join you, but not sure what time you will be there, where you are launching from, or what route you are taking... hmmmm - interesting.
Anyway, main purpose of writing - We cannot make tomorrow - other commitments can't be broken.
