Anyone bought recently a Humber ocean pro 6.3?

I did, and have some issues i like to chat about (and check some things) with somebody who bought also a OP6.3 in the last 6 months...

Before you are going to ask: Why just one-on-one?
I just like to check this first, if it is only me (and my new boat) and/or does others have the same experiance as I have...

When it's not only me (or my boat) I will post it as info for all..

OK,

I like to know the measure from inside transom till bowlocker...(please tell me than the buildyear of the boat).
Is it 402cm or 430cm?

Furthermore I want to know if the transom-tube connection at port side is finished like mine.
See the clear difference between starboardside and portside.

Because of the dent in the connection rim (don't know exactly how it's called in english) a have a water leakage while the hypalon has loosen there. Also the "end" finishing is realy not slick, and I think this will be goen a problem in the future because there are corners where the hypalon is bent over.
It should be as at starboard side, is my opinion.

Comment till so far: find the leaking spot and put some gleu in it, and we can't see your point from the pictures..

At the 2nd of June the boat is going back to the importer...

Hi Gilles, see my post of today of 7.21....
Also: does your boat has towing U-bolts? This, because it should standard on the boat but they are not on mine...

I'll need to check tonight, but I think mine is finished like that......

I cetainly have the overlap between the toob & the hull like yours, and I do get a small leak (which I think is actually starting a lot further up the joint towards the bow) but that's after 30 years use!

Built 1984, and it's 1.3m shorter, but is the grandad of the O-Pro & it ooks like the Hull - toob joint tech hasn't changed.

In the meantime I think there might be a pic of it on the trailer in the "Show us your rig" thread, but probably won't be too good a view of that corner of the hull. Will try to post a pic tonight, but may be later in the weekend by the time I get round to it.

Ah, OK.

I'm looking in a small window at work , I might have spoted that better if I had "full screen".... I thought you were wondering about the way it was built, that's why I thought my floating museum might have helped.
