joakimhansson, don't read these posts and think people don't want to help you , people on here do. Leeway has been discussed at great length and at time the debate has been very controversial. Many people are sick of the subject. As stated search for the posts already on the subject you will find them informative.

Sorry Joakim, didn't intend to be unfriendly. As Richard explained, the 'Leeway' topic has been argued to death on this forum.

I own one -
In answer to your questions
Yes we are pleased with the quality and the hull.
Tubes from Olmec which we are also pleased with, although some people have recently not been pleased with them.
The reason why people are getting anoyed is that it has been discussed a lot before, however, the previous discussions have been more to do with the hulls origins as opposed to whether its any good or not.

Sorry m8 didn't wish to be unfriendly just that you have been registered on here quite a lot longer than me so I assumed you would have seen some of the epic roller-coaster threads on this particular subject. Didn't mean to offend you

That's only your opinion, I personally think there's a lot more mileage left in it!

We can arrange a demo run in one of our ribs if you are interested..
I can do good discount prices on the 8.3m and 7.3m as moulds are free at this pressant time. The 6.3m has a order waiting list.

Dont worry mate, most topics get discussed on here again and again.
I am an owner and happy, if your serious about buying one have a chat with Lee, he uses my boat as the demo boat.

What size do you have on your Rib Doug? I will take a closer look at Leeway in the end of summer.

Leeway RIB
6.3m RIB with 90 HP
We were originally looking at the 115. I have found the 90 gets 40 knots without any problem. Its a very light boat and planes easily. My conclusion is your best of putting on a smaller engine than you would generally think for the same size boat. Keeps fuel, service and purchase prices all down as well.
