Anyone have experience with Allmand Ribs? Help!

I have discovered what seem to be pretty nice Ribs on iBoat from Allmand. I have been talking to the owner, but am uncomfortable with the fact you don't see any used or even new ones except 2009 models from them direct.

I understand they make great regular boats, for decades. Owner claims they have been in Ribs for 10 years.
No dealers around, no 2007s, 2008s, etc.

Help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I've had ribs since 1992 and am unfamiliar with the brand. I would ask where are they made and by whom, also, are the tubes PU, PVC or Hypalon. Hypalon is your best bet for a quality set of tubes that will last a long time and can easily be fixed if needed.
Before I make a decision, I would want those questions answered. Also, can the owner give you a few current users to call? Last but not least, have you sea trialed the boat?

I know I haven't given you any answers, but I hope I have given you questions to ask.
