Anyone Heard of Aqua Water Sports in Netherlands

Just had an offer to buy my two Fichts from this comany in the Netherlands through Boats and Outboards. Has anyone heard or had any experience of them? Slightly concerned that its a scam but there website looks genuine enough. I was thinking of getting them to make payment through paypal.

What do you think??

Cheers,

Gordy

get them to come over and pick them up no cash no goods.
you can keep them advertised until they are gone.
DONT accept a cheque or bankers draft cash or paypal (or pp deposit rest in cash)
then you know its genuine

They seem totally honest to me. Hope you get a reasonable price.

Thanks, they have transferred the money to me and are arranging the uplift of the engines. Feel a bit guilty now for doubting that they were legit.

I wouldn't, its your money and your engines. Best to be on the safe side!

Your right about being on the safe side.

I did speak to a couple of mates who trade in Europe, basically they reckon that my doubt is a very british thing, the rest of continental europe probably wouldn 't have given it a second thought.

Anyway, having spoken with Jan from Aqua, they are always looking for 2nd hand engines which they recondition and sell on, as a couple of other people have pointed out the exchange rate works well for them at the moment.
