Anyone know what this is?
Well, it's a kind of RIB.
Lifeboat?
Looks like a powerfull and very seaworthy craft.

Think it might be a Vector - built by Cygnus in Penryn?

Looks a bit like a chopped down Sunseeker XPS34 from the late 80s.
Spray rails looking very 'Don Shead' like....

That's what I saw in Penryn about 10 years ago.
Had a customer looking for a big RIB. There were two as far as I know - the one in the pictures above which was afloat in Plymouth and a red one which was part completed at the Factory.
Production had stopped as the purchaser had "disappeared". Why you would want a boat capable of 60 knots, 600 miles, a wheelhouse only big enough for two persons and able to carry a tonne of cargo I can't imagine.........

That's what I meant to say!
Pretty sure its design was heavily "influenced" by a 1980's sunseeker.
