Anyone know what this is?
Hi, I've just bought this 6m RIB and as there is no nameplate or paperwork to say what it is does anyone recognise it. It has a very unusual hull form in the bow area. Almost stepped. Any help appreciated! Thanks,
Tom

Tricky - we can't see the rest of your drop box.
Assuming you are using the website rather than the ap, go below the text entry box. You'll see an add video button - ignore it keep scrolling down.
Click "Manage Attachments"
Popup appears - Click choose file - navigate to your picture - upload it...

Yes, probably an early RibEye, they were always individual at the bow end

Better picture
This is my rib. Note the unusual hull step near the bow. Is it a RibEye as Red seems to think?

It is a quandary for sure. RibEye is certainly the closest. As I recall they used to put their logo on the hull rather than on the tubes.

Picture is better but still not the best. People will want a collection of angles - transom, on board, front side plus anything resembling a marking.
But whatever it is - take that bow strap off the tubes!

I will add some decent pictures next week. That photo was the ad I saw when I bought the boat. I wouldn't tie a rib down that way!

What RIB is this?
See improved quality images. It is 6m overall.
Originally described as a Salcombe Sports RIB but I can't find any record of such a craft!
Is it an early UK RibEye?

There was a rib produced called a Salcombe flyer. It had a very low stern and high stem with very straight tubes. No curve up at the bows.
Followed on from some 15 to 16 foot hard hulls made by the same company. From memory they were on Island Street, Salcombe.
