I think that was wasted Davie.

I remember all the old apprenticeship stunts that people tried to pull. Can you go to the stores and get a:-

A long weight
Some sky hooks
A long stand
A left handed screw driver

I remember when someone asked me to get a bucket of steam. Little did they know I'd been working the month before on a process involving cyanide, which was carried in buckets with a screwed and clamped top. I went to the stores and asked "Stan the store man" for a cyanide bucket. When I took it back to them and said "Stan said be careful of the steam when unscrewing the top" they shit themselves!

We have a decorative balcony at work. It has false doors leading off it at that higher level. Yesterday I watched a pair of architects surveyors sweating in their efforts to 'find' the doorway upstairs. The number of people who have been sent upstairs to 'sweep the balcony' over the years must run into hundreds....
