You sure it won't be blocked? If it is I'll be screwed.
Any idea of the tide states it's usable in? Some nob has messed with the info on Boatlaunch.

It is, as you probably know it's round the back. I've never been charged to use it and just park on the gravel beyond the slip. If using the marina pontoons you'd probably need to pay for a short stay to keep them off your back, but there are some pontoons opposite the slip which people seem to use when launching, and MDL don't seem to mind too much.

Thanks Tim.
According to the MDL website it's £10.75 to use. I don't mind paying that if there's a tap to flush with and parking.

MDL Hamble Point today , there was a hose attached to the tap at top of slip, just need a hose connector for engine or muffs etc.

Last time I checked, both Mercury and Hamble Point were approx £15 each way. I use HP as it is still fully accessible at low water (Mercury only has a couple of hours either side of HW if I remember).
I am thinking of doing HP on Sunday as well.

I know we didn't have anything firm but I did offer to help out, do you still want some company Sunday? I've got a chance to go fishing if not.

Damn, sorry Andy everything's been so hectic while I'm finishing the boat I forgot.
I should be ok, thanks for the offer though, it was appreciated!

If you get stuck then let me know, I'll be out in the Solent or around the back of the Island towards the East.

If I reach you, I'll know it's working ok-not sure being picked up by Solent Coastguard is much of a test from the middle of the Solent...
