Anyone playing out in Menai Straits 12-14 April?
Well, after the refurb, the time has come to clean and scrub the toobs before heading to the Straits for a 'shakedown' this weekend.
Friday's looking good so I'm thinking of hitching up and heading west early doors, launching from Ty Calch mid-morning.
Any fellow nobburs about on Friday or the weekend?

I certainly am Steve but probably wise not to attempt a trip round the island without a thorough shakedown first. That's my excuse anyway but don't tell the Leader of the Opposition...

Fantastic day. Sunshine, straits to myself and best of all, everything worked!
Blast out to Puffin, a more gentle meander back, boat now parked at Is Helen and sat outside harbour pub with a pint of Stella in the sun. Superb.
Night in hotel and then do it again tomorrow with the missus.
Happy days.

Superb day. Sunshine, straits to myself and everything worked. Might need to look at prop coz engine only got to 4900 and speed 35 with a tad of tide up my jack.
Sat outside harbour pub with a pint of Stella ( not a real ale place but hey ho ) overnight in hotel and do another blast out to Puffin tomorrow!
Happy days !

Had a good blast with Whackywoody + his mum and dad today. Launched at Chris's and headed round to the Gazelle, pottered about and then headed back, or should I say, once rounding the corner at Port Dinorwic 'bashed' back to Caernarfon.
Gareth, being completely hard-core, kept going to Puffin.
Another great day on the water.
