Anything exciting happening in August?

I'm over in the UK on leave in August, is there anything good going on in the first 3 weeks of August? Any big boat shows etc? Looking at some of the dates it looks like August is getting a bit late and most of the stuff I'd like to go to has already happened this year but just wondered?

Bournemouth Airshow 18th to 21st Aug. Usually pretty good if weather is OK. Great to see from a boat, you can anchor right on the display line, had a great view of F16 or F15 last year, full afterburn made my boat vibrate it was so close.

Admirals Trophy - Boatmad.com We will be taking the new beastie down to the event as it's named after Ian Stirling who lost his life racing last year. It will be the official launch and there will be a bit of a party. Campsites etc all available
