Arctic 22 does it fit in a shipping container?

Hi

I have sourced an Arctic 22 and looking to ship it home(it's going to be a project). Container would probably be easiest in my mind.

Was wondering if anyone has anyone done this before.

Arctic's are 2.54 meters wide (including inflated sponsons) a container is 2.35 meters wide. I presume it would fit if the sponsons were deflated for transport.

If anyone has any info would be great.

Thanks
Ross

These people suggest it does. You may want to give them a call.

Thanks for that. Looks like it’s possible alright.

Will be trawling through the threads to get some pointers.

Yes it will. Some few years ago a friend of mine called Arek Pawelek ( Arek used to post here ) shipped one in a 40” container to Chile and took the rib round Horn . I will have to do a search but I remember he send me some photos from the trip and when the rib was packed inside the container. The tubes had to be deflated.
