Arctic 22 Rebuild

Last year I promised people on this forum who had been very helpful that I would post information on the Arctic 22 rebuild. Well now she is up on a modified trailer with all top deck components removed including the Helo points.

Now we will start removing the top deck and from what I understand this will have to be done piece by piece because this craft is built like a brick **** house. The Royal Navy really had their money's worth.

The photo uploaded shows the craft on her Trailer, the Hoist has now been moved away allowing work to begin. If anybody has has any suggestions or advice please feel free to comment, thank you.

More photographs to follow as work progresses.

Hi there,

Just signed up to rib net. I too have got a Pacific 22 project on the go just thought I’d check to see if there was any other project Pacific’s / arctics

How you getting on ? Mine was originally a Pacific with a jet. Ripped that all out and converted it to outboard. Still massively at the early stages and building new transom at the minute.

Anyway best of luck be great to see some more pics of your build hopefully your further on than me

I’ll try and set up my own thread when I work out how to use this site could do with some inspiration and input. Wouldn’t say I’ve come to a stop but very slow going. I was involved in an explosion back in October last year and it’s left me with a few physical obstacles, lost the full use of my right hand and waiting on spinal surgery and knee surgery which is a right pain when your half way through building a boat ! Manage to steal the old hour here and there on it when all the medication kicks in and I am having a good day. Shame really obviously been off work for the last 7 months but probably only achieved a couple of weeks work in that time. Still I suppose it’s keeping me busy. Fibreglassing with one had is pain in the ass haha. Been reading up on a few of the project builds on here and it

I'd like my own Pacific or Arctic project but have no time with family, work and voluntary commitments.

Maybe in 5 years time ...... :sigh:
