Arctic Blue 27

I am looking at maybe buying an Arctic Blue 27 outboard version.
There is a second hand one for sale just outside Gothenburg here in Sweden.
It is three years old with an Optimax 225 of similar age.
Does anyone have experience/opinions of these boats?

I noticed a post saying they were exhibiting at Ribex, who is the retailer in England, prices?

Nick.

Not any experience but saw them on the ribex.

One of the most bautifull boats on the show. Looked like it could handle really rough water.

Hi Nick, how did you get on?

These RIBs have had quite a bit of exposure in RIB International.

The UK Importers are:
Clearwater Ocean Craft
Lakeland House
Mattersey
Nottinghamshire
DN10 5EA
Tel. 01777 818497

Full specification and prices are listed in the current issue of Rib. Int.

Nick as they say one should always listen to the wife , why don't you contact Peder at www.stockholmribcenter.com and ask about our cabin rib which sleeps 2. We are just completing a single diesel model for a client in Sweden and the twin diesel demo model has just come back from Sweden so perhaps if interested you could make a deal with Peder

Have a look at the Shearwater 860 RIB. That has a smallish cabin.

I have looked at the Arctic Blue 27 as well but I have the same dilemma and am also contemplating a hardboat (!) with a large outboard engine that can get me the same sort of speeds, a Nordkapp 760 Noblesse (www.nordkapp-boats.no) or an Ibiza 24 Touring (www.ibizaboats.no).
If you look hard at the price of a RIB it is very hard to justify the amount of money when you can get a hardboat for the same money with a lot more creature comforts!
