Artic 22 rib build advice

Well as rib was still up for grabs my pal decided as free to collect it and try his hand at rib building , with myself there to advise and oversee he said haha
So really what I need is good advice on what can do on limited budget really
It's going to need new tubes so if anybody has or knows where can locate 2nd hand be great to be pointed in right direction
What is best size engine for these etc?
Regards
Graham

Speak to Chris at Henshaws about tubes, they often have stock.

Are you going for a single or twin set up? Twin 150s is more than sufficient, or a single 200 - 250.

RIBase
Depends on what you're going to use it for but as bolt-ons and with a tight budget I reckon I'd have a really good look at the tubes (and past the aesthetic) and see if they couldnt be resurrected..... Difficult to tell from pics.... Are they totally shot?

Henshaws often have surplus tubes in stock which will be much cheaper than new, it's worth a phone call.

Think they need minor alterations but they can obviously do that.

Other person to speak to would be Paul Tilley, I sold him my old tubes that were still ok apart from needing new bolt ropes fitted. He may still have them.
