Atlantic 21 compete refurb Project

Sorry guys yet another instalment is about to flood the forum,
hopefully it will entertain some (bore the rest) and give some assistance to others in how certain things are actually done

The vessel has been stored. Since April 2011 and some time before that in Chewy,s ownership

http://www.rib.net/forum/f16/chewys-...ect-40846.html

Programme of works I intend to time stamp this see how much graft I put into it,

Atlantic 21

Hull,
This to be soda blasted, with all visual damage repaired
4 coats poly Kote 4+1 primer
5 ltrs Acrythane A211 top coat. Ral 2004 red
Colour sanded and mopped to my taste!

Deck
There is not one in place ,
All areas soda blasted recoated in gel wash any failed areas repaired
Marine grade deck glassed both sides in 450 GSM glass ( I want to increase some weight and strength to the floor )
Underfloor trunking huge bore,
250 ltr custom fuel tank

Transom
This will be inspected and changed out if required
Either way this will be modified, there an open transom as std wet feet all day yuk, and any thing on the deck gets washed away

Console
Being set up mainly as a dive boat so single dive console being used, ( note needs a screen making !)
There will b a deck matrix going in so I can add further 4 x single jockeys behind for cruising

Engine
250 hp 4 Stroke Suzuki, this has been stored in my possession way to long

Coller
As always Henshaws will supply and fit this for me, grey in colour, this will be bonded on, not mechanically fixed mod style

Mod original style A-Frame

Lots of tweeks that I have learned over the years ,

Righto
1)needs to pick a trailer up from Kent
2) needs vessel from darkest remotest location in Wales
3) when hope full next week then fun time starts

Good to see you're not starting by making things easy for yourself!

I’m excited to see the thread. Always nice to know there are others (insert descriptive word) enough to rebuild an old boat like I have.
