£6k and that's for starters. Doesn't have a trailer, so you're looking at £2.5k new straight away. Engines look underpowered for a rig that size, but probably adequate. A project for someone with time and space. Odd it was only on a one day auction.

Did the RNLI not use 50HP engines on them for a while? And a trailer is only needed if you plan to keep it ashore! Presumably if you are happy with a 2nd hand boat you might be happy with 2nd hand trailer? Seemed like a fairly sensible price to me for a sought after boat that seems to be in ready to sail condition rather than a "project"

Twin 50's were used then the RNLI kept piling kit onto the boats so needed bigger engines.

At the very least you're going to need a trailer to uplift, unless of course the winning bidder plans to make the journey home by sea! I agree regards price though - a lot of boat for your money.

I'm sure you could hire someone to trailer it home for you.
