attaching tubes
There may have been threads on this in the past but I need a little assistance and was hoping someone on here might be able to help. I have a 26ft RIB that I am trying to restore and bought new tubes for. Unfortunately there is not really anyone around here that has much experience with anything other than patches and small dingies. To get someone with much experience I would have to fly them in, supply lodging as well as the cost of the actual job and the quotes have been way more than I am willing to spend. I do have someone who lives here who has done plenty of work on small dingies and patches who is sure he could do the job. I was hoping there might be someone on here who was willing to give me some what of a detailed run down on the process so that I might be able to follow along assist in the process. Or at least make sure that it is being done correctly. The tubes are PVC. Thanks for any help anyone might be able to provide!!!!
