Attempting Puncture repairs.

Hi,

I've got a tub of bostik 2402 & a little bottle of D10 hardner.

What are the correct amounts to mix this?

There are no instructions supplied with this item & are there any sites to look at...
I've marked the punctures & 'sanded' both the tubes & patches ready to fit.
Just need to apply this stuff!"!"

Pete

Different user same question :-).

Can anyone confirm what the 2402 / D10 ratio is please?

The link to the ewetsuits website above appears to be broken.

The Australian Bostik website specifies 4% by weight but for a different hardener, and I found some info on Western Marine's website which stated 'about 17 to 1 by weight' which I make to be 5.9%. If anyone can confirm I'd be grateful.

Cheers

Chris

My big tin of 2402/hardener worked out at 25:1.

For info, most glass bottles of this type have their volume moulded into the base.

I mixed it 4ml hardener to every 100ml glue (1/25)and it worked a treat, I used a medicine dose syringe to measure the hardener.

Thanks for the feedback - 'll work on 25:1 and take it from there.

Cheers
