Probably has some thing to do with the DJI Mavic Pro.

Mine arrived today and it is amazing - folds to about the the size of a 1 litre drinks bottle.

Auto tracking I have only tried in the park tracking me but it is spot on and flies great.

It blows the GoPro Karma out of the water and I guess the Lily just won't compete.

the gopro karma was a total joke, gopro have lost what they had by delaying the hero 5 by 2 years. the karma being recalled just put the ice on top of their problems if you look at their shares.

also by coincidence, i got a mavic pro here to have a looksy at so maybe have a go this weekend.

pity the lily went as a chuck it and forget has a market.

It looks like it will be the investors losing their money and not the customers as they are refunding all orders.

I bailed out a few months ago and got my money back promptly. As sterling had crashed in the meantime it turned out to be a pretty good investment!

It's a shame, as it could have been great and the price was low enough to make it really accessible. The Mavic Pro is about £1k which placed it out of a lot of people's reach, and it's got its own problems too:

If I was buying another drone right now I would get a typhoon H or an autel x star depending on budget, check it out John.

The Typhoon H is relatively expensive but offers things the others can't such as redundancy in motors, controllers, modular camera system, can get a cheap handheld gimbal and you have a 4k stabilised action hand camera you simply slide off the drone. You don't need a remote control to fly it, you put a key fob in your pocket and it follows it or you can control it if you want of course. The other good thing is if you want to get really into it you can fly the model and someone else can fly the camera with a separate remote.

The x star is a cracking value bit of kit imo, don't own one but tried it a few times at flying club, will probably pick one up at some point.

As with everything there are pros and cons to all drones but there are a lot of choices out there so not impossible to find something suitable.

If you want similar to the lily check this out
