I spotted this 1931 wooden craft moored alongside an Avon SR6 today at Hamble. The owner states this boat is normally kept in Falmouth and also has the Avon as his own support RIB to help him steer it in close quarters. He has his own lorry kitted out to run it and the RIB to other locations and has only had one re-furb which was 2005.
This skipper clearly knows how to look after his boats. His Avon was really tidy too with a merc 115 but he intends to swap for twin engines shortly so he can steer easily when the yacht is alongside
I know this is a RIB forum but he did own and use the rib alongside his beautiful craft.
