avon age ?

just got a avon 5.4 but dont know the age of it , it has gray tubes with a orange hull ive looked on transom for the plate but only found a british flag but no numbers . is it stamped elswhere or could you give a aprox age so i can insure it . thanks for your time.

At my best guess its somwhere between 1970's and 2006. If you could post a picture, especially of the transom from the inside, this would help

There should be a serial number on the inside of the toob, starboard side (I think?) near the bow. The last two digits are the year of manufacture. If your toobs are original, you should be able to find it.

If there is a stainless bar /capping on the top of the Transom the serial number is also stamped on that but that might be for the later models
