Avon Rib Lite

We have an Avon 311 RIB with a Tohatsu 9.8 on it, and we are really happy with it. However, in some launching places the bank is a bit steep and it can be a bit of a beggar to pull out at the end of the day.
So we recently spent all our pocket money on a 310 Rib Lite. It's about 90lbs lighter, but it's a shallower vee and a different hull shape. We'll still keep the 311, but for difficult places we'll use the Lite.
Anyone got one? How does it go with 2 people in it?

I had the identical Zodiac version with a 9.9hp, 2 stroke Yamaha.

Clever design with the folding transom, but as you have noted the hull is very flat. This can lead to slamming in waves, but also means it has a decent turn of speed and can plane with quite a bit of weight on board.

Performance was great, got about 20kts out of it with 2 big adults on board.

Its a great boat, enjoy it.

I had one, and was a bit disappointed with it to be honest. It went well two-up with a 9.8 but didn't perform any better than a Bombard Aerotec 380 inflatable which is bigger and less hassle to move around when packed up.
