You are selling this SR4 http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/boats/1263193 for 1950 euro.

You want to spend £2,500 on an SR4 which you may source from the UK & take to Ireland (with a return ferry crossing costing surely not less than £300).
Therefore, leaving £2,200 to spend on a boat (presumably with a trailor of a standard which will manage a return journey from the UK).

If you sell yours for the asking price & source one in the UK including the ferry price as above & you come in on budget, do you expect the new boat to be superior in condition to what you have already?

It doesnt really make sense, why dont you just keep the one you have?

There's a military spec 5.4 re-tubed in '05 in my local rag today, for £1250.

that budget is purely for the boat not travel costs.
my old sr4 was £2,250 with a 50 yamaha powertilt brand new trailer with new tyres ,electronics, stainless steel a-frame backrests loads of extras
so it makes loads of sense haha

I must have learned different sums in Galway. I just dont really understand it. If you expect to get 1950 for what you are selling & yet expect to get something fantastic for £550 more then more power to you!
