Avon Searider 4.7 vs Rib-x 450

Its been rough seas for weeks and I started to wonder if the deeper v hull searider would fair better on the south coast than my current 4.5 rib-x. Do avon still make them new?

Dont suppose anyone has a 4.7 Avon searider, not sure if I could use my current engine as the deeper v must mean i need a longer shaft engine? Anyone know about these things....

Anyine got a 4.7 searider hull or reconmend a deeper V hull, Tornado?, Rib-eye, dont really know a good make to look out for.

I would like to get a hull and then add my current engine etc.......

What is a 2005/6 Rib-x 450 Hull worth?

Chris

What motor do you currently have? Your profile just says "outboard"
4.7 Searider takes a single lonshaft motor, max 70hp.

I think twins on a SR4.7 would be longshaft too.
