Just keep an eye on bloody decks and go where the bite is reported at. One of my friends kids is a deckhand working on becoming a Captain so he can feed us what he is hearing from the Captains on the cattle boats. Get a little ahead of the bloody decks/internet chasers.

Sounds amazing amount of fun, 40 miles off the south coast of the.UK and we would be in France.

Just spent a month roaming/camping around southern UK and NW France in 2023 with the mrs. Bought a little Vauxhaull Agila 1 litre for $600 and drove around 2300 miles (3,700 kms) along the English and French coastlines. Crazy how tiny and skinny the roads are in SW England. Slow going for sure but beautiful.

The color of the waters along the English Channel blew my mind. Had the light blue Caribbean type feel but just a lot colder.

Jesus some miles there, must have been a great adventure. You should have brought a small Rib to accompany you on your travels.
