Avon Searider 5metre

Purchase two ex-workboat from Yacht Club in Hong Kong
Questions
1. Is it a Avon Sea rider 5metre?? ( I've seen 4m ,4.7, 5.4 most common and less talk about 5m_
2. Where can I get the tube if I wanna retube it myself? (wanting new Hypalon tube)
3. What engine shall I fit in? ( It use to be yam 60hp fourstroke doing 23knots, thinking of fitting Yam 85hp 2stroke for 1 boat and yam 60hp Fourstroke for another. Any other recommendation?)
4. How to fit the new tube to the hull?
Many thx to all

looks like a 4.7. worth spending the money on if so. 1991 hull. a 60 four stroke yam would have nearly sunk a 4m it so im guessing its a 4.7.
def not a 5.4. few more pics wouldn't go amiss

There is one local to me with the same 5m stamp on the plate, bigger than a 4.7 as I have one. Presume Avon must have made a 5.

Here's a reference to an SR5M being used on the Peacock-class corvette: Peacock Class Offshore Patrol Vessels

If they really were 5.0 Seariders, not 4.7s or 5.4s, presumably that makes them very rare indeed. I can only find references to them as equipment for that class of ship, and one photo of a Cleveland Fire & Rescue boat that's been on eBay forever.

RIBase
Whatever that one is in the pics, it's been either re-valved or retubed. They don't use Halkey-Roberts Valves from new.

Incidentally, my 5.4 has 5m stamped on the transom capping strip like the OP's does, but the ID plate shows it as a 5.4m

I'm quite sure they are both 5.4m now when the document comes to me that they measure as 5.4m on registration document
