Avon Searider or????

I'm looking for a rib to have some fun on my holidays in Croatie.
I'm looking at the Avon searider Sr4. Are there any other rib's with same specs like the SR4?
I want Hypalon, about 50hp and loads of fun.

RIBase
Avon Searider 4.0m is pretty unique. Solid build, flooding hull, deep V, hypalon tubes. They also made a 4.7m, but very rare to find. Old boats on the whole, so be wary of cheap deals, as there are plenty threads on soggy transoms and tubes that are on their last legs.

Difficult to compare, but Ribcraft 4.8m and Ribquest 4.8m are both excellent boats, deep V hulls (not flooding) with hypalon tubes. If Ribcraft is rare to find, then Ribquest I can't remember seeing their 4.8 for sale in last 5 years, and not for budget that would get you a decent 4.0m Searider.

This is expensive, but nearly new engine and trailer reflects in price.

Odd example, but shows that these can be overpowered.

About as cheap as you can get, no engine, tubes have been painted.

Thanks, for the info. There are not a lot of Avons available in Holland. Maybe have to look in the UK.

I just sold an 4.7 ...
Look in Germany under Ebay-Kleinanzeigen.de - there are a couple of SR4 announced for sale .
Funny - the Germans go to Holland to get Seariders .
There are a few guys specialised in them and they have frequently boats available .

If you don’t mind a bit of a project the current £-€ rate May make buying in the U.K. a better option seen a few seariders for sale recently check eBay U.K., gumtree and Facebook marketplace.

One on Facebook in the north east for £900 4m with a period Yamaha 50 2 stroke

Good series of video here https://youtu.be/wTHpJwkcxDI

There's a chap in Holland who advertises quite a few Seariders here:

For the size they take some serious beating. Amazing boats
