Damn it... I asked Graham to discretely remove one of those snazzy seat backs while you were up there but you obviously never let the boat out of your sight!! Bugger!!!
They did scour over the arse end of it though and taken dimensions as needed...
Cheers again Chris!! ;-)

Hi Chris,
my popcorn was gone long time ago. looking forward to your first ride
on your unique beautiful SR4 + action pics, of cause!
In germany we say, good thing takes it´s own time.
Just met someone, who worked at a local company who sold many different
seariders to police, rescue, official´s…He told me about experiments and
experience about mounting outboards offset on seariders.
One point is, that offset works against the torque of the prop.
The center of the hull builds one keel line trough the middle of the V hull. On a
“single keel” the deep V hull runs kind of “fragile”, smooth chine walk, and if
you go faster, even more.
Now the other point. The (offset) fin of the outboard creates
a second keel line under the hull. Now the Hull get´s grip trough
“twin keels”, instead of to “dance” on one tip. He told me that´s the
reason, why offsets run more even on deeper V hull designs.
Very best regards
Heino

I kept a careful watch to make sure nothing was removed, but Graham did take lots of measurements and even made a few sketches, back of a fag packet of course

don't worry Heino, the photos will be posted soon, the engine is offset but will need to offset the engine fin when I've got a few more hours on the engine, but I'm very pleased so far

Heino, there is an adjustable trim tab on the engine just above the prop which allows for some fine adjustment to the engine offset, but to be honest I'm happy so far 😎

Heino, many thanks for helping me out with Kerny, you seem to have bonded with him
I'm doing my best not to open the throttle too much for now, but as you say I'm looking forward to WOT and going for a good blast in the Searider

Sweet Chris. Perfect for you ......as I guess as opposed to the revenger you can lift her back to the waters edge when you take too long over a pint and the tide goes out! ;-)
