avon supersport s3.45 rib

Avon Supersport S3.45 RIB | eBay

I am not looking for an opinion on the boat in the link, its just there to show the right rib.
What I am wondering is have you owned one and what did you think of it?
I am considering all sorts of options for my 2nd boat, stepping up from my zodiac futura sib and keep seeing these appearing on ebay.
I would love to hear any opinions you have about them....thanks in advance

I owned a 3.4 Seasport. Well made, not a deep v hull so can be a very rough ride,
I had a 25hp 2 stroke on it and got around 30mph on a flat calm conditions

Had a Tohatsu 40c on the back (same weight as a yamaha 25hp)
Struggled to plane with more than 2 onboard.
Fun boat though like a go cart. I took rear seats out for more room and worked well like that.

thanks boiler maker, so its a bit of a rough ride compared to a bigger rib such as a searider, but compared to my sib which can really strugle against the chop i assume its a fair bit better ? am I correct in this assumption ?

getting the picture.....
but there is a big difference in budget.....
like twice the price to buy and a fair bit more on fuel also.......
bummer, I was really hoping everyone was going to say wow, yes, what a great little rib and loads of fun for around two grand.

You'll get an SR4 for the price of the Seasport. It won't be immaculate, but it'll be a far better boat.

Dont go putting a 50hp on, (40hp will do) and dont cane it everywhere and an SR4 won't be too bad on fuel either.
