Back In Black!

Harbour Safaris is in the process of updating our Parker 10m rib to some new power...can't wait to get them out and running! Adding an extra 100 ponies to the back!

More photos to follow as we get into them!

Good news as the performance will for sure be greater

Nice , cracking engines, you’ll get a real pronounced whine from the supercharges when in the upper rev bands - it’s addictive!
You can be sat cruising at 30 knots, hit the throttles and the 350’s accelerate hard till you get scared lol, you’ll have some fun with them

I'm excited to get on the throttles, that's for sure!

The etecs hit 1000 hours and are now out of warranty. We did have some issues with them, lower units mainly. The verados have been almost flawless for us, so we went back.

On our first long trip it looks like we burned about 8% more fuel.

HOWEVER - at the 20 hour service we will be swapping props (dealer didn't have the 4-blade he wanted to use in stock) which should be a bit more efficient for cruise.

And I'll likely try a set of Enertia Eco's in a month or two, for some reason dealer doesn't have them here.

You can really hear the difference in the turbocharger whine between the verado 250s and 350s in this video!

Still haven't driven the boat yet...

Parker 750cc

Hi Islandflyer, we are using a 19”x14” Mercury Vensura 4 blade & find it very good. At WOT 6000rpm 42kn & 111ltr hour - 30kn 50ltr hour. We tried a Michigan Wheel Apollo 18” it was terrible lost 5kn off top end & fuel burn was up.

Andre hope life is good with you!
We are into our second season with the 750cc. Alan Stirling ( top man ) sorted us out with the 2016 London boat show 750cc with a fantastic deal. I have to say the quality of the mouldings & layout are fantastic. The 300 Verado is a beast & it’s a fantastic boat in the rough stuff. Staff at Inverkip marina are also great to deal with. They bend over backwords to help you out not like at Largs!!!

All the best Callum

Islandflyer, sorry for highjacking your thread but Callum and I go back a long way. Next year will be 20 years when we first met on the Round Scotland 1998. That was a very memorable rib cruise

Callum, I am pleased you like the boat and thank you for your kind words. Allan is a superb guy. I remember your boat from the LBS . The first one of ours with a white Verado
