Ballistic 6 / 6.5 vs others

Hi

New member here. Looking to buy my first RIB. Mainly for family mucking about around the East coast - based near the Orwell for any who know it.

I've been looking at a new Ballistic 6 vs a 4 year old 6.5 Both seem reasonable packages albeit a bit of Covid / Suez / availability premium on the 6.5.

Any stories positive or otherwise?

I've also been looking at competitors - Brig seem a bit cheaper - any others I should look at? Really want something with decent UK support for when I inevitably hurt it!

Have you looked at say Ribcraft, Humber, XS.

Thanks - I'll take a look.

Half the problem is finding anyone to sell me one (at a not stupid price!).

Have seen Grand ones too which are quirky but I quite like.
