Interesting thread. Once it's rewired, new batteries and you've sorted the fuel lines, then you've ruled out about 99% of future problems.

Once it's finished, it's going to have been almost totally dismantled and reassembled.

So far I've found nothing at all that can just be re-used straight away.

Lighter than one with ski lockers, tables, jockeys and a big pile of the assorted poo that gets shoved in lockers in the bow though!

I think it's a 200 litre tank-thats what JBT said was fitted to them in 2004.

Well, today's job didn't quite go to plan. What was supposed to be a quick job removing all the old sealant turned into an all-dayer. There appeared to be at least 5 different types of sealant used on it from badly applied Sikaflex to 2 different colours of silicone bath sealer. None had adhered properly, but despite being the wrong products and poorly applied it took a long time.

The good news is that I've found something that does appear to soften Sikaflex a bit. It's called No Nonsense Sealant Remover. It doesn't make a huge difference, but it made it slightly easier.

The deck hatches went back in today -it's going to apparently chuck down tomorrow so it's getting a damn good scrub then as it's about the only thing the rain can't screw up.

The pic below is far cleaner than it was-nearing finishing removing all the sealant from the deck.

Well, it chucked it down all day today so I did 3 hours of scrubbing in it.

It looks better, but there appears to have been a load of DFI oil spilled not only in the console but in a jockey seat some time ago and it's solidified into the deck pattern. The only thing that'll touch it is solvents, so I had to stop as the solvents were getting too diluted by the rain.

Before and after pics. I think I've only got the easy bit of the cleaning out of the way so far...

Perhaps it was 78KPH thats 43 Knots which may be more realistic with underpropping? Find out soon enough

Quite possible-the seller almost certainly didn't know how to use the finer features of the GPS.

Todays pic-I started to fit the screen then noticed a scratch so polished it out. Then I saw another. 2 hours later I stopped as I was getting a bit silly.
