It's significantly cheaper than Safety-Marine to get the tinned cable from Vehicle Wiring Products by the way.

Fair enough. In the past i bought all that kinda stuff from Genuine Dealz in the US.. However only worth doing if you are putting in a big order.

Dammit, I messed up. I measured the console end of the old fuel filler for the hose diameter, not realising there was a reducer that'd fallen off somewhere during removing the console.
Now stuck, waiting for a new filler cap, console filler recess and 38mm hose.
If anyone wants to buy the above, for 51mm ID hose (a very nice stainless filler and the filler recess for it plus 1.5m of approved fuel hose ) let me know

Steering ram back on, A-frame back on, new control cables/fuel line/battery cables/transducers all under the deck.

The last couple of days has been spent getting the rigging hose on and outboard connected up. Looking neater and dirtier now as mud from the field is getting everywhere.

No idea. Might be, might not. I'm not comitting to anything timewise right now.
I'm not going to do a RTI trip as the maiden voyage.

Well, after a bit of phone help from Pete7 (thanks Pete!) the steering is on and finally bled properly.
It's a heathen job...

What was really cool earlier was putting the key in the ignition (not finished fitting it all yet)-controls aren't on, nor is killswitch) and turning it on, watching the gauges come to life and everything working.
That felt REALLY good.
