Ballistic build issues
I've read on here about issues Ballistic had with their boats when a certain factory in South Africa was producing the hulls and decks but I can't find the specific post that detailed which factory it was and when they ceased to be involved?
Can anyone tell me in what year they moved production to the new factory?

Mine is a 2007 and the build quality seems fine from my point of view, although I haven't had the deck off...

Tony, you need to get in touch with NOS from the admin team as he knows ballistics inside out!

Mine is an early UK boat and also seams fine but like Steve I haven't removed the deck. It's badged as AET marine who were the predecessor to JBT.
I also don't know when production was sketchy but have had a few PM chats with NoS about it.
It would seam it was the SA factory between the UK built boats and the current factory that JBT use?

That seams an unfair question. Of course I'm partly saying this because I own one (and all is good with it) but the company has changed hands and factories several times and yes it seams there are a few ruff ones out there but like all things you don't hear from the many happy owners so don't let this detract from what is a fast and seaworthy hull - just make sure YOU get a good one.
I was out the other night in a substantial sea pushing 35knts, out ran pilot boat and a wind farm boat easy and it was a fair old sea. I could count on one hand the hulls I reckon could achieve that In those conditions; This hull loves to be pushed.
Their console is a nice design. The jockeys & stainless on mine work well too, and they are the same as Nos has I believe.
